This modular design architecture allows the custodian to support an increasing variety of different information services to their clients, by “snapping in” either new record keeping modules (for example, variations on different record keeping algorithms to support entry into new markets) or new connectors (for example, new automated trading networks) without the need to start over from scratch. The custodian defines the new record keeping algorithm, Capnetix engineering develops and tests the new “snap-in”, connects it into the platform, hosts it, and the custodian can now offer a new branded service to their customers.
